Ingredients
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 11⁄2 cups GF rolled oats
- 3/4 cup roughly chopped nuts
- 1⁄4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1⁄4 cup chopped cranberries
- 1/3 cup honey (or agave/maple syrup if vegan)
- 1/3 cup peanut butter or almond butter
- 3 capsules Lifestream biogenic Ginger
- 2-3 tsp Lifestream Essential Berries
- 1-2 tsp Lifestream Spirulina
- 1-2 teaspoon Chia seeds (optional)
- 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Line a 9×9 inch baking tray with cling film (plastic wrap), set aside
- Put the dates into a food processor, and process until the dates form a sticky dough-like ball
- In a large bowl, combine the date “dough” with the oats, almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, Lifestream Essential Berries and Lifestream
Spirulina. Set aside
- In a small saucepan, melt together honey, peanut butter, con- tents of Lifestream ginger capsules, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla over a low heat, stirring constantly
- When the honey-peanut butter mix is warm and well mixed, pour the mixture over the date-oat mix
- Stir thoroughly until fully combined (or mix with your hands), press into the 9×9 inch baking tray, and chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes
