What Else Can I Do to Help my Gut?

A happy intestinal tract will manage keep your digestion and elimination moving along nicely, but if you struggle with your gut health you’re not alone.

You might have gone for years happily eating all things gluten and dairy, and then started to notice a change in the way your body is responding to them.  Or maybe you’ve become accustomed to pooping every 3-7 days, passing wind perpetually, or feel bloated and tired after meals - because it’s been going on for so long it’s now your “norm”.  If you’re challenged with these and other problems like irregular or perpetual bowel emptying, or daily digestive discomfort, they’re indicators that your gut needs some extra TLC.

Digestive problems can be stressful, and sometimes it’s hard to know which started first - your stress or your tummy problems!  And, annoyingly, stomach disturbances caused by stressed can create more stress. Ongoing and intensive stress affects not just energy, mood, and happiness, but also your ability to digest and can cause you to miss out on all your nutrients.
