INGREDIENTS
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup raw sugar
1 cup plain flour, sifted
125 g coconut oil
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp bicarb soda
3 Tbsp boiling water
2 tsp of Lifestream Honey and Ginger Syrup
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 180°
- Place the oats, coconut, sugar and flour in a bowl and mix until combined
- Melt coconut oil and maple syrup in a saucepan over a low heat
- In a separate bowl, combine the bicarb soda and boiling water, then add to the coconut oil/syrup mixture
- The liquid will froth and increase in volume. Pour into the dry ingredients and add in Lifestream Honey and Ginger Syrup
- Stir until well mixed.
- Roll the mixture into 12 balls and place on a non-stick baking tray
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown!
