Homemade Bircher Muesli

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup rolled oats (gluten free if required) 
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 100mls almond Milk 
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger 
  • Juice and zest of 1 orange 
  • 1 heap teaspoon Lifestream Flax+ 
  • ½ apple peeled and grated
  • 1 teaspoon natural sweetener
  • ½ cup of coconut yoghurt

    DIRECTIONS

    Soak the oats and dried fruit in the orange juice overnight.

    Put the grated apple in a bowl, along with the heaped teaspoon of Lifestream  Flax+. Add the oats and the almond milk to bring to a loose porridgey consistency. Sprinkle with the ginger, natural sweetener, and cinnamon and stir. Add a dollop of yoghurt, plus a drizzle of honey if you have a sweet tooth. Try adding fresh fruit or nut butter too! Serve immediately.
