Homemade Bircher Muesli

INGREDIENTS

  • Β½ cup rolled oats (gluten free if required)Β 
  • ΒΌ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 100mls almond MilkΒ 
  • ΒΌ teaspoon ground gingerΒ 
  • Juice and zest of 1 orangeΒ 
  • 1 heap teaspoon Lifestream Flax+Β 
  • Β½ apple peeled and grated
  • 1 teaspoon natural sweetener
  • Β½ cup of coconut yoghurt

    DIRECTIONS

    Soak the oats and dried fruit in the orange juice overnight.

    Put the grated apple in a bowl, along with the heaped teaspoon of LifestreamΒ  Flax+. Add the oats and the almond milk to bring to a loose porridgey consistency. Sprinkle with the ginger, natural sweetener, and cinnamon and stir. Add a dollop of yoghurt, plus a drizzle of honey if you have a sweet tooth. Try adding fresh fruit or nut butter too! Serve immediately.
